Michael S. Davidson is the President of BizEx, a Los Angeles Business Sales, Mergers & Acquisitions firm specializing in the sale of businesses in the lower middle market.
Michael graduated from CSULB with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent two years as a Project Engineer before joining Ortel as a high tech Sales Engineer. At Ortel, he learned the Hewlett Packard Consultative Sales approach, traveled the world selling fiber optic lasers and receivers to some of the largest telecommunications firms in the world and earned the Sales MVP in his mid 20’s. Looking to gain more autonomy and investment knowledge, Michael joined Grubb & Ellis in 1998 as a Commercial Real Estate agent.
In 2001 Michael transitioned over to Business Brokerage where his skills and experience were better suited and his entrepreneurial passion was ignited. Over the next several years he successfully sold a variety of businesses in the Retail, Service, Manufacturing, Internet, Software and Entertainment industries. Dissatisfied with the general business brokerage sales approach and philosophy, he started BizEx in 2005 to be a different kind of brokerage.
BizEx stands for Business Expertise. They leverage technology to simplify and expedite the buying and selling of businesses. Their agents are trained on the Consultative Sales Approach. Michael has undergone extensive training and earned his CBI, CM&AP and M&AMI. BizEx has grown to 24 Business Broker / M&A Advisors with offices in California and Hawaii, has sold hundreds of businesses and has developed a centralized database of almost 12,000 registered buyers.
Michael was the captain of his fencing team at his University and a volunteer coach for several years where he honed his teaching, coaching and leadership skills. He now spends most of his time developing and supporting some of the most talented Business Brokers & M&A advisors in the industry.
